Elden is currently the Conductor for the Hawai'I Youth Symphony II.
Music director Elden T. Seta motivated his students to attain superior levels of achievement in all areas of study at Moanalua High School in Honolulu. More honor roll students were enrolled in music than in any other school program. Under Mr. Seta's direction, the music program experienced unprecedented growth and success: enrollment increased, the Moanalua High School Symphony Orchestra was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall (the first high school orchestra ever to be awarded the honor), and the school's Symphonic Wind Ensemble was selected to represent the United States in the prestigious 2004 International Band Festival in Japan. Over ten years, Mr. Seta was selected by the Moanalua High School Student Association as the Outstanding Teacher of the Year on three occasions.
