Dr. Roger Berkbuegler has served as principal of Rolla Senior High School in Rolla since 1980. Under his leadership, Rolla has been recognized as a U.S. Blue Ribbon School for more than two decades. Dr. Berkbuegler's innovations include an alternative night school; a work experience program for disabled students; the Tech Prep Program; and the on-campus inclusion of the Cerebral Palsy School program. Dr. Berkbuegler is also responsible for the development and implementation of a nationally unique Title I Math Tutorial Program that is designed to provide all students enrolled in math classes with individualized instruction. This program's continued success is reflected by the exceptionally high enrollment of juniors (95.4 percent) and seniors (over 70 percent) in math courses.
