Don Love is an assistant superintendent in the Springdale School District. "Our schools," says Dr. Love, "often the last vestige of hope for a healthy and productive life for our children. Profound societal changes have made the educator's role all the more complex, according to Dr. Love. Education today must adjust to the realities surrounding it, and it must become more relevant to the student. "It is the responsibility of the entire school to work with parents and community to ensure that all students acquire the skills and knowledge to become contributing members of society." Dr. Love dreams of some day developing a "far-reaching high school program which will meet the educational needs of every student in the community." An appreciation for quality instruction and a positive attitude are the hallmarks of Dr. Love's administrative approach.
