As assistant principal at Waycross High School, Charles Etta Scott wrote a schoolwide discipline management plan, restructured the remedial math program and established a school-base health clinic that is the model for such clinics in Georgia. The Bulldog Clinic provides services and referrals for physical and mental health, including substance abuse services and pregnant teens programs. Ms. Scott also started Rising Stars, a program to encourage better grades through tangible rewards.
