Cathy Pittman retired from the Glynn County School System in May of 2015. At the time of her retirement, she was the Assistant Principal for Instruction at Brunswick High School. Currently, Cathy works part-time for the Glynn County Schools as the Science and Social Studies Coordinator K-12.
Cathy Pittman taught Introduction to Teaching, Teaching as a Profession, U.S. Government and Advanced Placement U.S. Government at Brunswick High School. In addition, she served as chair of the Social Studies Department and was an advisor to several student organizations. Pittman helped plan and implement the mentoring program for new teachers at her school and co-taught the Gifted Endorsement classes for her school system. Pittman earned National Board Certification in 2004.
