Teaching reading and science at La Salle Language Academy, Kevin McCann inspires excellence in his students. His charismatic approach to teaching eliminates boredom in the classroom and demonstrates the importance he attaches to vigorous teacher-student relationships. Mr. McCann coaches the academic bowl team, manages the after-school social center, and trains students to use audio-visual equipment. Acknowledged by former students for his ability to give them a strong academic foundation, Mr. McCann organized a 10 - year reunion of all students he had taught - an event that drew over 300 people.
