"Technology has advanced and evolved immensely. Some of the future careers many of my students will pursue haven’t even been created yet. That’s why I wanted to teach coding. Coding allows students to innovate, communicate, problem-solve, collaborate, and be creative thinkers, which are skills they will need in the 21st century. It’s also important for students to understand the technology they use and start thinking about how technology impacts their lives." —
