Jon Pickinpaugh (NE '17) Appointed to NAGB

Jon Pickinpaugh (NE '17) has been appointed to a four-year term on the National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB) by U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. According to the announcement, "The 26-member governing board is responsible for deciding which subjects the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) assesses, determining assessment content, setting achievement levels that describe student performance, and pursuing new ways to make NAEP results useful and meaningful to the public." NAGB oversees the "Nation's Report Card."
