Carl Ray Seale (IN ’93) has passed away at the age of 87. Carl was in the first class of Milken Educators to receive the Award in Indiana.  At the time of the Award, he taught physics and chemistry at North Montgomery High School in Crawfordsville. Carl came to the teaching profession gradually. After completing his undergraduate studies in chemistry, he entered the seminary at Wheaton College. In the course of pursuing his own graduate work, he was asked to help grade chemistry papers and, later, to teach college-level chemistry. Given an opportunity to enter the classroom, he discovered a real love for the profession.
