Walter Clark (AK '91) has died at age 79. When he won the Milken Educator Award in 1991, Walter was the principal at Blatchley Middle School in Sitka, Alaska. He began his career in education teaching auto mechanics, woodworking and welding, later serving as principal at multiple schools in Montana and Alaska.

In addition to the Milken Award, Walter received a School Administrator Award from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
