New Mexico Secretary of Public Education Ryan Stewart is visiting for a festive assembly—and he's brought a special guest with a huge secret to share! On behalf of the Milken Family Foundation, Dr. Candice McQueen, chief executive officer of the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching, surprises Lacy Rivera with New Mexico's 2019-20 Milken Educator Award. It's a day the professional learning coach and the Los Lunas community will remember forever.
