OH Milken Award Goes to Kristen Maurer

 

Kindergarten teacher Kristen Maurer catches her breath during a quiet moment after her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. Kristen is a hometown hero who hails from a family of educators. She has taken a leadership role in the Indian Valley district where she was once a student, leading Midvale’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) team, representing the school for the Indian Valley Foundation, and serving on the building leadership team.
