STEM Star Tamarah Danzy Wins in OK

With veteran Milken Educators listening in, Tamarah Danzy calls her parents to share the good news about her Milken Educator Award surprise and the $25,000 cash prize. Her dad, who taught and served as a principal for more than 30 years and recently retired, was her inspiration for pursuing a career in education. "I wanted you to be the first to know," she tells him. "I wouldn't be a teacher without you."
