Jessica Cunningham Named 2015 DC Milken Educator

 

 

KIPP DC College Preparatory Principal Jessica Cunningham is stunned and emotional when Milken Family Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Lowell Milken announces her name as the recipient of the first Milken Educator Award of the 2015-16 season. She had been told the schoolwide assembly would celebrate the school's brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, the construction of which Cunningham oversaw. The school occupied the new building at the start of the school year.
