Described by peers as "student-oriented," Tom Blair, principal of Sauk Rapids High School in Sauk Rapids, began his career as a social studies teacher before becoming an administrator, a role he has fulfilled for 20 of his 25 years in the profession. As principal of Sauk Rapids, Mr. Blair is an advocate of technology, helping to secure both Internet and Intranet access for his school, and participating in a district-wide technology team. His efforts have earned him recognition as Minnesota's Secondary Principal of the Year.
