In the Career Prep Program he adapted, Mr. Nagata helps his students select the "pathway of courses" that is best suited to their career choice. "Most students in the Program," he says, "enroll in a post-high school institution for further training. " Mr. Nagata created the Vocational Technology Learning Center in order to ensure that students and other members of his rural community develop technological proficiency.
