Over the course of 50 years in the classroom, Roger Morrissette taught English, French, Latin, history and math to elementary through high school students in the United States, Canada, and Africa. As a team leader in mathematics at Sedgwick Middle School in West Hartford, Mr. Morrissette taught his students to approach problem solving as something that is "thought-provoking, meaningful and fun." Throughout his half-century in the classroom, Mr. Morrissette inspired hundreds of students with his tireless enthusiasm and pride in his subject matters and his profession.
