Biographical Information

Jennifer K. Presson is a middle school lead teacher for the Suffolk Public Schools. Previously, she taught sixth-grade social studies and English at Forest Glen Middle School in Suffolk. Presson's methods dramatically increased the reading level and achievement scores of her students. Working with the Partners-in-Education program, Presson fostered cooperation between the school and local businesses, and participated in an after-school tutorial program in the juvenile court service unit. A National Board Certified teacher, Presson was selected as one of ten teachers to participate in curriculum development for the George C.
