Biographical Information

Under the direction of the Chief Accountability Officer, the Director - Monitoring and Accountability will be directly responsible for overseeing all operations within the Office of Monitoring and Accountability. This includes supporting principals and district administration in reaching goals by designing and implementing a planned program of evaluation and accountability structures related to the ongoing development of instructional and other student-related programs. Working alongside the Office of Information Technology, directs the district's data collection, analysis and reporting systems by facilitating and supporting the maximum use of data in continuous improvement efforts of district and school teams. Most recently, I was selected as a Agency Fellow with the Strategic Data Project at Harvard University. As a fellow, I will be instrumental in bringing data and evidence to bear in policy decisions that have the potential to drive substantial gains in student achievement and attainment. Anthony is an adjunct professor at Bowie State University.
