Virginia Secretary of Education Anne Holton congratulates Principal Amber Dortch on her surprise Milken Educator Award as Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, looks on proudly. "It's hard to keep the Milken Educator Award a secret when it goes to one of the teachers, but when it's going to the principal, it's even harder," Holton says. "But we did it!"
