The 2012 Indiana Milken Educator Award Goes to Snacks Crossing ES Assistant Principal Candace Ewing

Candace Ewing, the newly appointed assistant principal at Snacks Crossing Elementary School in the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township (Indianapolis), was stunned to learn that she was selected as Indiana’s 2012 Milken Educator. Candace was presented with the $25,000 cash prize at an all-school assembly led by Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Bennett and Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley – an Indiana Milken Educator herself.
