Kimberly Alexander Carlo Receives NY Milken Award

 

 

Seventh grade science teacher Kimberly Alexander Carlo catches her breath after her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. Kimberly contributes to social-emotional learning (SEL) schoolwide as a member of the CREW committee, integrating SEL best practices, state benchmarks and Habits of Mind. She also serves as a middle school liaison for the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging committee, as well as a member of the restorative practices committee, and assists in providing professional development for her colleagues.
