Biographical Information

Prior to becoming principal this year of Peter Woodbury School in Bedford, Gail Paludi served as principal of Memorial School, an elementary school also in Bedford. Several of the programs she initiated at Memorial have since been implemented throughout the district, including a college-accredited teacher- student mentoring program; a highly effective school- community council called the BEAM (Building Excellence at Memorial) Team; and community-business partnerships involving a local senior center and a bank. Dr. Paludi also instituted looping at Memorial to establish continuity between grade levels and holds workshops to introduce her staff to alternative teaching styles. A district-level leader in standards and assessment, Dr. Paludi has chaired several educational committees.

Personal Message

As the Superintendent for the newly formed SAU #102, I have been responsible for working collaboratively with the Goshen School Board to plan, organize, and implement all aspects of this new district.  We are unique in that we do not have a school but tuition all of our students to other public schools.  Students in grades pre-k-5 attend our anchor school in a neighboring town.  Students in grades 6-12 have public school choice and currently attend 4 other public schools in neighboring towns.  This has been an interesting and exciting endeavor for me as I enter my 45th year in public education.
