NV Milken Educators Welcome Special Education Teacher Joseph Kielminski

 

 

Joseph Kielminski catches his breath during a quiet moment after his surprise Milken Educator Award notification. Joseph's enthusiasm for education and creating an environment where everyone belongs is evident in his wide impact at Foothill High School. In addition to his work in the classroom, he has spearheaded initiatives like Foothill's sign language club, a classroom garden where students grow and sell their harvests, a hot beverage cart service teaching life and communication skills, as well as a campus and classroom cleanup group.
