Matthew Mayeske's Milken Award Surprise In Gardner, KS

 

 

Matthew Mayeske and his colleagues lead Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken on a tour through Gardner Edgerton High School.

A Gardner Edgerton graduate himself, Matthew creates a welcoming environment for all students, even those not in his classes. He's a valued mentor to new and veteran colleagues alike, leading the Climate and Culture Committee and actively participating in the school’s Building Leadership Team and SITE Council. His influence even extends to the playing field, where he coaches track and serves as an announcer for football, soccer and wrestling.
