Linda Dishman Wins First Milken Award of 2018-19 in Kansas

 

 

Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, talks with a student about the important role teachers play in our society: "In our country we do so much right, but one thing we don’t do well enough is to honor, celebrate and recognize the important work that our talented teachers do." Then tells the audience that every year, the Foundation travels across the country to give an important award to the very best educators...and this year, one of those outstanding educators is right here at their school!
