Neal Cronkite Wins MI Milken Award

There's an important assembly today at Washington Woods Middle School: Michigan Chief Deputy Superintendent of Education Sheila Alles is here to commend students and staff on their Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS). But there's another reason the entire school is gathered in the gym, which comes to light when Milken Family Foundation Senior Program Administrator Greg Gallagher surprises fifth-grade science teacher Neal Cronkite with Michigan's 2017-18 Milken Educator Award and $25,000.
