Two Milken Educators Win Presidential Award for STEM Teaching

Brian LangleyTwo Milken Educators are among 213 STEM teachers honored by President Obama with the 2016 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

Patrick Kaplo (NH '09, left) is a science teacher at Windham High School in Windham, New Hampshire. Brian Langley (MI '07, right) teaches chemistry and physics at Novi Senior High School in Novi, Michigan. Their awards will be presented in Washington, D.C., next month. Each educator will also receive a discretionary $10,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.
